The brand new GS, which has been greatly anticipated by consumers and enthusiasts, will make its debut in dealer showrooms sometime this week. Along with the debut of the 2013 GS will be the launching of the new marketing campaign for the vehicle.
Two of the commercials making up the campaign will highlight Lexus’ innovative technologies. Another of the commercials is based on the 2012 Super Bowl commercial and is called “Beast”. The Beast commercial has a GS F sport escaping containment with the tag line, “The next generation of Lexus will not be contained”. The fourth spot also shows the GS F Sport as it drives through city streets and shows the success of making “bold decisions”.
Brian Smith, Lexus VP of Marketing states, “This vehicle has come farther, faster than any other vehicle we’ve developed, and is the first to wear the new design face of Lexus. With the GS, we’re redefining our place in the industry, as well as in drivers’ minds. Our marketing campaign has to do the same, and it’s supported by one of the largest media buys in the history of the company.”
